i am going home in less than two weeks... it feels like forever since i have been home.

hawaiian restaurant.

so, i went to a hawaiian restaurant last weekend and had "huli huli chicken".

huli huli chicken.


umm, haha, it was very different that what i am used to but good nonetheless. it was pretty much bbq chicken.

i have been listening to metallica and trying to learn to play 'master of puppets' on guitar... i have concluded that they must be robots because the guitar parts are faster than humanly possible. for real.

the neighbors said she moved away.
funny how it rained all day.
i didn't think much of it then.
but it's starting to make sense. - all time low.

long weekend + nothing to do + walking around the city = spending money.

on a good note, i did a lot of walking and listening to music. i love it when you do not listen to a band for a long time period of time then when you finally do, you realize how awesome they are. for instance, incubus.

there's something about the look in your eyes.
something i noticed when the light was just right.
it reminded me twice that i was alive.
and it reminded me that you're so worth the fight.

there's something about the way you move.
i see your mouth in slow motion when you sing. -incubus.

it...is...cold...

so, it is cold. two days ago, it snowed for a bit.
on another note...

i now have a bike. (but again, it is cold, so i cannot ride it because my face become a popsicle.)


it think it is supposed to say 'shoes'...

i visited some of my relatives, they ride in style.

i was listening to the ataris 'blue skies, broken hearts...next 12 exits' for the first time in forever. there are some great songs on that cd.

just cause things aren't what they seem, it doesn't mean you shouldn't dream. -the ataris.

mushroom hunting / bbq

this weekend i attended a bbq with the english club from my part-time job.
we started off with hunting for mushrooms... i did not find any but one person got lucky.
this was the first time they found these mushrooms in the past three years.



the bbq was at the home of one of the members of the english club.
his house was a remodeled old style japanese house.
one part of it was over 100 years old, the newer part is 30 years old.
he even had a koi pond.



they pounded some mochi.



there are some huge spiders in japan.



they also dug up some potatoes.

now notice how enormous this potato is!



this was on okay ending to probably the worst weeks i have had in a while.
work among other things have been rough as of late...
on a good note, i think i am getting paid soon.
